The Troop

Our Scout troop meets every Thursday from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.  The Scouts in our troop are girls and boys aged between 10½ to 14 and are split between 4 patrols, Buffaloes, Cobras, Eagles and Hawks.  Each patrol has its own Patrol Leader (PL) and Assistant Patrol Leader (APL).

At Scouts you will learn a wide range of new and useful skills such as navigation, cooking, knife, axe and saw, cooking over patrol fires and building many useful camp gadgets with pioneering skills to name but a few.  Pioneering skills also come into some of the many activities we take part in such as building catapults, rafts and rope bridges.  We focus much of time on getting outside with a very diverse range of exciting activities including rock climbing, camping, kayaking, hiking, high ropes, abseiling, geocaching, archery, zorbing…..

One thing is certain – you will make lots of new friends and YOU WILL HAVE FUN!
