Scouts at High Lane Primary School summer fair
![]() |
Not yet in Scouting? Fancy trying something new? This year, 1st High Lane Scout Group will be building and running a monkey bridge on the school field at High Lane Primary School’s summer fair. The monkey bridge is open to anyone to have a go, parents included! It’s completely free so you can have as many goes as you like. |
We’ll have lots of photo’s of past events and lots of other information about what we do in Scouting in High Lane. If you like what you see then now’s the perfect time to get your name on the waiting list. We’re planning on opening new sections over the coming months due to a huge increase in demand for Scouting in High Lane. You’re never too young either… We’ve had some of our members on the waiting list since birth so to guarantee a place for your child in the Group, please see one of the leaders at the fair to add them to the waiting list or alternatively, complete the form on our Join page.
You’re also never too old to join the adventure. You don’t even need to have had any experience in Scouting to join the team as an adult volunteer. There are many flexible roles available in the Group which make Scouting accessible to all, no matter what experience or time you have to offer. Please talk to one of our leaders at the fair for more information.

We all had a fantastic day at High Lane Primary School fair on Saturday. The day was a real shorcher and it was great to see so many young people and a few parents trying something new and having a go on our rope bridge (although it was a shame no teachers had a go!).
If you enjoyed that little taster of just one of our Scout activities and would like to know a little more, please check out our join pages for more information.
