Rhyl Sandcastle Competition and RNLI Visit

15 April 2013

This April 75 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and parents from 1st High Lane Scout Group visited the beach at Rhyl for a sandcastle competition and visit to the RNLI lifeboat station.

The weather was the first warm day of the year as we were joined by the Mayor of Rhyl, Councillor Bill Tasker, to judge the sandcastles.

After the sandcastles had been judged and the prizes awarded, everyone gathered to visit the RNLI lifeboat station where we were shown around the station by members of the crew.

Photo’s from the days event can be found on our gallery.
